2:00 to 4:00PM. Come to The Geological Roadshow if you think you have a meteorite, rock, fossil or a mineral that you want to know more about. Take this opportunity to bring your unknown geological samples to this event that is based on the popular Antiques Roadshow format and have them identified by Mark Badham, curator of the Miller Museum of Geology at Queen's University. Toronto Zoo Keeper for a Day: Saturday November 29, 2008

African Savanna, Elephants, African Rainforest Pavilion, Indian Rhino

Ages 14+: This popular program is returning for another year of WILD animal experiences. What exactly does a zoo keeper do all day? Come work with us and find out! Learn all about husbandry, feeding, breeding, and conservation from a keeper perspective. You get to choose which keeper you would like to follow for an entire day. Whether you're interested in animal care as a career or just want to have some fun, this program is worth all the sweat and smells. All proceeds go towards conservation projects and professional development of Toronto Zoo keepers.

Cost: $225 Members, $250 Non-members. Lunch ($10.00 voucher for Harvey's Restaurant), Toronto Zoo guide book, and a completion certificate is included.

Make the most of Galileo's Telescope - 400 Years of Discovery, Canada Science and Technology Museum, Ottawa: December 6, 2008

Join Dr Jaymie Mathews as he shares discoveries made by the MOST space telescope and ponders what historians may say in four centuries. The evening culminates in a Star Party (weather permitting).
